Who and What is CompTIA?
CompTIA is the voice of the world's information technology (IT) industry. As a non-profit trade association advancing the global interests of IT professionals and companies, we focus our programs on four main areas: education, certification, advocacy and philanthropy. http://certification.comptia.org/getCertified/certifications.aspx In addition to being certified by CompTIA, our personnel have also been asked several times to sit on the panels that evaluate the criteria for the new exams and the panels that develop the tests for 3 of the four certifications we hold plus two new certification test that have been or are in the process of being developed.
